Kopitar Under-rated by ESPN

National hockey writers get it wrong…again.

ESPN recently published their ranking of the top 25 NHL players of the 21st century…I had intended to write a piece on Kopitar being ranked too low (21st), but this guy - Austin Stanovich - beat me to it. Check out Stanovich’s article - he is correct, Kopi is ranked too low by ESPN on their list.

Later I’ll publish my detailed comparison of the careers of Anze Kopitar and Patrice Bergeron…both consensus Hall of Famers and nobody argues that both aren’t excellent players…but for some reason, the national media love Bergeron and consistently ignore Kopitar.
